  • 6-8oz. Chocolate (chips or other similar)
  • 1-1 ¼ C Sugar (Baker’s sugar if you have it, regular if not)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 ½ C Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp. Salt

Directions

  • Melt the butter and chocolate together. You can use a 2 qt. saucepan over low heat or a microwaveable bowl.
  • If you want to add flavors (cinnamon, orange) now is a good time.
  • Mix in sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing to thoroughly combine.
  • Carefully mix in flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • If you want to add anything chunky (chocolate chips, nuts), now’s the time.
  • Pour into a well-greased baking pan and bake at 350°F. for 20-25 minutes. They are best when they don’t quite look done.
  • Cool, cut, and enjoy!
