If you have not yet transferred all of your assets into the name of your trust, this is your friendly (and urgent!) reminder to move it to the top of the priority list!

We will be hosting a free client workshop where we will be available to answer your questions and walk you through the funding process so that you can be sure that your assets are properly tiled in the name of your trust.

You might not have heard of a “Funding Workshop” before; that’s because most estate planning firms do not conduct them. They’ll create your trust, give you your binder, and send you off on your way.

But maybe you get home, look through that binder, and discover you have questions. Perhaps some of your assets are not so easy to transfer. Maybe you are overwhelmed.

Then what?

Here at Brainin Law Office, we want our clients to have the peace of mind knowing that if something unexpected happens, all of their assets are PROPERLY owned in the name of their trust so that it works AS PLANNED. Unfortunately, people don’t realize that an improperly funded trust is almost as bad as having no trust at all.

With that said, this event will help you review your titles and deal with any paperwork you may be stuck on.  We’re also here to answer any questions you may have and schedule follow up appointments to notarize documents if necessary. If you’d like to join us, here’s what you should plan to have handy:

• LWPP (Estate Planning Binder)
  
• Account Statements
  
• Valid form of ID (Driver’s License or Passport)
  
• Change of Ownership Forms from Banks (if applicable)
  
• Change of Beneficiary Forms for Retirement and/or Insurance Policies (if applicable)
