
Brownies
Ingredients
- 2/3 C. Butter
- 6-8oz. Chocolate (chips or other similar)
- 1-1 ¼ C Sugar (Baker’s sugar if you have it, regular if not)
- 4 Eggs
- 1 ½ C Flour
- 1 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1 tsp. Salt
Directions
- Melt the butter and chocolate together. You can use a 2 qt. saucepan over low heat or a microwaveable bowl.
- If you want to add flavors (cinnamon, orange) now is a good time.
- Mix in sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing to thoroughly combine.
- Carefully mix in flour, baking powder, and salt.
- If you want to add anything chunky (chocolate chips, nuts), now’s the time.
- Pour into a well-greased baking pan and bake at 350°F. for 20-25 minutes. They are best when they don’t quite look done.
- Cool, cut, and enjoy!
